Latest Updates from Our Project:

Manufacturing is complete!
about 1 year ago – Mon, Apr 24, 2023 at 02:34:01 PM

Hey everyone! We hope you're all doing well!

Since the last update, Witch Way has officially finished production! 🎉🎉🎉

We're super stoked about this, and we hope you are, too!

Right now, Longpack is working on getting shipping coordinated with our fulfillment company. They just sent over the draft copies of the paperwork, so we're super close to getting the games.

Once the games arrive at the warehouse in Atlanta, things should go pretty smoothly from there. Due to the small print run, Bridge Distribution has assured us that it should take very little time to get the games sent out and into the hands of every backer (though it will unfortunately take a bit longer for those outside the US).

As soon as we get close to shipping the games out, we will finish charging any Backerkit fees (things like shipping, add-ons, etc.) as well as lock addresses, so now is a good time to make sure your information is accurate.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions.

Witch Way will be here soon! Time to get excited!

Manufacturing Update
about 1 year ago – Fri, Mar 24, 2023 at 07:01:13 PM

Hey, everyone! We've got awesome news!

The final manufacturing sample for Witch Way arrived and everything looks great! They managed to fix all the errors.

Here's an overview of what everything looks like, as well as a guide for how to place the components so they don't slide around too much.

Since the sample has been approved, manufacturing is now underway and they say the game should be finished by the end of the month!

We're super excited about this and we hope you are as well! Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer and closer to the finish line.

Manufacturing + Surveys
about 1 year ago – Tue, Feb 28, 2023 at 09:21:02 AM

Hello everyone!

First thing's first, pre-orders have now been locked. A reminder email has been sent to all backers: you have a little less than 48 hours to finalize any changes you want to make to your order. Once that deadline has passed, you will have to contact us if you need to adjust your orders. Addresses will be locked closer to when the games are ready to be are shipped.

Speaking of which, manufacturing has officially started! All of the files were finalized and sent off to the printer! Based on what our representative said, production should take roughly 2 weeks, after which, the games should be ready to ship to Bridge's warehouse in the states.

We're so close to getting this game in your hands! I hope you're all as excited as we are!

Once again, thank you all so much for your continued support!

Fulfillment, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Surveys
about 1 year ago – Wed, Feb 08, 2023 at 11:57:56 AM

Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. A few things have been happening since our last update.

Fulfillment + Distribution

First of all, those of you who are in the loop on fulfillment companies may already know this, but we recently got word that Funagain will be going out of business. We had planned on using this company for both fulfillment of the campaign and distribution of the remaining copies, so needless to say, this was upsetting to find out.

Luckily, with the help of other indie designers, we were able to get some recommendations for replacement companies, and were pointed in the direction of Bridge Distribution. So far, we've signed a contract with them for distribution, and as soon as they get back with a fulfillment quote, we'll likely sign up for that service, too.

Manufacturing

In the meantime, all the files for printing are basically ready to go. We just need to add a EU address to the box for both safety testing and sales purposes. While we were initially struggling to figure out how to handle this (given that Tea Leaf Games is a US-based business with no foreign branches), our new partnership with Bridge has seemed to solve that issue. They have a European address they said we could use, so once they get back to us with that, we can finalize the box file and get manufacturing under way! So far, things are still on track as far as the production timeline is concerned, so we should hopefully have the game printed and shipped off by the end of March! We'll let you know if anything changes.

Backerkit Surveys

We're so close to finishing the surveys! Almost everyone has filled theirs out; we're only waiting on 9 more people. The deadline for locking orders is set for February 28th, and given how close we are to finishing production, I think this date is pretty much set in stone. (This doesn't mean addresses will be locked just yet, though. That deadline will be closer to when the games ship.) Once orders are locked, you won't be able to adjust your order by yourself, but you can still reach out to us if you need anything changed.

At this point, I'm going to start messaging anyone who hasn't finished their survey directly on Kickstarter as well as sending personal emails (in addition to the ones Backerkit has been sending) in the hopes of getting some responses. Remember, this is for your benefit! We want to make sure that everyone who ordered a game gets their copy.

That's all for now! As always, please let us know if you need any help or have any questions.

Rulebook + Appendix
over 1 year ago – Sun, Jan 15, 2023 at 06:20:01 PM

Unfortunately, I realized there was a technical issue with the videos for the rulebook and appendix and wasn't able to update and re-upload them within the 30 minute time-frame Kickstarter allows for editing updates. If you're interested in them, the videos are below:
